Exploring STEM through hands-on robotics and teamwork
The Spartan Robotics Club provides a space to explore robotics, programming, and engineering. Through bi-weekly activities, students build critical thinking, technical skills, and prepare for careers in STEM.
The Spartan Robotics Club aims to provide students with a creative and collaborative space to explore robotics, electronics, and programming.
Through bi-weekly activities, the club encourages critical thinking, technical skill-building, and innovation, preparing students for future academic and career opportunities in STEM.
The club also serves as a pathway for interested students to participate in the Spartabot FTC team, aligned with the FIRST Robotics program, offering a nationally recognized robotics competition experience.
Technical Skills: Robotics, CAD, programming, electrical systems, mechanical design, AI, vision
Professional Skills: Project management, public speaking, teamwork, problem-solving, branding and marketing, fundraising and finance planning
Provides practical application beyond the classroom using real-world engineering tools like CAD, version control, sensors, and prototyping.
FTC complexity allows students to dive deep into focused areas such as Programming, CAD, Manufacturing, and Marketing/Branding.
Roles create pathways for leadership—students can lead sub-teams and mentor others.
Membership is open to all BRHS students. FTC teams are capped at 14 students each, but multiple teams may be formed based on interest.
Reach out to student leaders like Velan, Smit, Ishanth, and Saatvik to learn more or get involved.
